Sage Murnane
Coach/Personal Trainer
she/her/hers
Sage is originally from Illinois, lived up and down the east coast and overseas, but after 14 military moves with her family, she has happily called Scarborough her home for the past 7 years. Sage earned her BA at St. Louis University in Secondary Education, and taught biology for several years. Once her husband began to deploy, she was lucky enough to stay home to raise their four kids.
Sage has always had a passion for fitness and saw an opportunity to begin a new chapter once her youngest started school. She became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2016 in Maryland, and worked as a trainer for a year before their final move to Maine. She continues to seek out new ways to help her clients achieve their desired fitness goals in a safe and steady manner. She believes in a balanced lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of health and wellness.
Sage specializes in functional fitness and strength training. She has recently completed her certification in Pre- and Post-natal Coaching, and plans to complete a Menopause Coaching certification this year. She has a passion for breaking down the myths that surround exercise and pregnancy as well as menopause.
Sage places value on listening to the clients’ needs day to day, and understands each day holds different physical and mental challenges. She believes in meeting people where they are at, and helping them achieve their fitness goals by taking things one day at a time.
